Independent Contract Courier
>>> Perfect opportunity for an independent person to choose their own working habits and control their income. Every Independent Contractor earns a commission on each job or route they handle. Independent Contractors communicate via cell phone to our dispatch. In addition, all Independent Contractors are expected to be professional and well groomed. Zip Express is a twenty four hour, seven day a week operation.
We are looking for hard-working Independent Contractors with cars, vans, mini-vans, or pickup trucks with caps to provide same-day delivery service to our customers. We also need Independent Contractors with LIFT-GATE Straight Trucks and Cube Vans. Commission based business opportunity.
Zip Express uses Independent Contract Drivers and provides them with a steady volume of delivery assignments. Contract Drivers that are available full time during the day can average $550 per week in gross commissions. Ambitious and efficient contract drivers can earn significantly more. Zip Express has work for any vehicle type including cars, minivans, pickups, and full size vans.
Successful Independent Contractors at Zip Express possess the following:

Cargo Handlers
>>> Cargo Handlers are goal oriented Team Members who operate company owned vehicles during our NIGHT OPERATIONS ONLY. Never forgetting the fact that they are in the service industry, Cargo Handlers strive to cover any need that arises day-to-day during our night operations.
Inside Operations Staff
>>> This includes Dispatchers and Customer Service Reps. Dispatchers are responsible for offering on-call runs to couriers in an efficient manner and making sure route and on-call customers’ needs are being met through communication with Customers and Couriers. Dispatchers must have excellent road knowledge of the city and surrounding areas. Customer Service Reps are responsible for inputting orders and new customers into the system as well as handling customer concerns and involving dispatch and the operations manager when necessary. All Inside Operations Staff will possess excellent computer skills with an emphasis on typing. Must be able to multi-task and assist with any special projects on an as needed basis. Must also possess good writing and communication skills.
